Terms of operation of hydraulic structures of the White Sea-Baltic Canal in 2025

The BELOMORKANAL Administration informed the shipowners about the terms of operation of the hydraulic structures of the White Sea–Baltic Canal in 2025:

The southern slope (locks 1-9) is open until October 31, 2025;
The northern slope (locks 10-19) until October 15, 2025.

Under favorable weather conditions, the operation of the locks of the Northern Slope (locks N ° N ° 10-19) of the White Sea–Baltic Canal has been extended on the terms of compensation for the cost of maintaining hydraulic structures, but under any conditions it will be completed no later than 24 hours 00 min. on October 31, 2025. The prepayment amount for the passage of the vessel is calculated based on the cost of daily maintenance of the locks of the Northern slope of BBK – 412 279.60 rubles, including VAT. The amount is divided proportionally by all the missing objects.

It is also possible to pass vessels during the specified period with a draft not exceeding 3.4 meters.
