Briefly about BreakBulk Europe 2025

Forwarders from Russia were able to visit the exhibition. Despite the sanctions European companies want to work with Russian companies. Mainly because of the large volume of both Russian domestic projects and projects in the Caspian Sea, which can be realized only by passing through RIWRS – Volgo-Don or Volgo-Balt canals, and projects in northern Kazakhstan – through the Ob-Irtysh basin.

Our representative discussed with colleagues the projects on the Caspian Sea, where participation of international forwarders is expected, for example: Silleno in Kazakhstan, Absheron in Azerbaijan, as well as projects in the Persian Gulf, related to the development of oil and gas fields and delivery of oversized cargoes from Europe.

It was separately emphasized that delivery of OOG cargoes to the Caspian Sea is possible only on Russian-flagged vessels, which requires transshipment through Turkish ports or Russian ports – Novorossiysk and St. Petersburg.

We also witnessed the awarding ceremony of industry awards Breakbulk Europe Awards, which recognize leaders in maritime transportation. The winners in the category “Best Maritime Transportation” were: AAL Shipping, AtoB@C Shipping, Comark, Prism Logistics, Sea O.G. and Suvari Shipping and Trading.
