Morwenna Assessed Demand for Oversized Logistics on HEAVY RUSSIA

On November 13, the XV international conference HEAVY RUSSIA was held in Moscow. The event was attended by cargo owners who operate projects in the oil and gas, chemical, nuclear, mining and other industries.

 

Morwenna took part in the conference as a shipowner and operator of a barge-tug fleet, which is actively involved in oversized and heavy cargo transportation. The delegation included the founder of the company A. N. Baranov, General Director L. Ya. Tomash, head of business development S. M. Sarsenova, as well as the head of the commercial department Yu. V. Ragimov and his deputy Prodanyuk A. V. Representatives of Morvenna presented transportation and towing projects in 2023, shared details about the fleet acquired in 2023, uncovered development plans for 2024-2025.

 

Conference participants confirmed that there is a lagre demand for oversized cargo transportation. Morwenna specialists estimate that it is be formed until 2028. Large-scale projects can be noticed in many regions of the country, in particular, eon the Far East. In this regard, Morwenna is considering expanding the geography of its work. The company’s fleet is ready to participate in projects in this region.
