Morwenna at the autumn specialized camp at the CASPIAN INSTITUTE OF MARINE AND RIVER TRANSPORT

The Caspian Institute of Maritime and River Transport named after General Admiral F. M. Apraksin (Astrakhan) hosted an autumn specialized camp for schoolchildren. As usual, representatives of the Astrakhan branch of the Morwenna shipping company took part in the event.

On October 31, branch director Alexander Gondarev and educational institution liaison Alfiya Abdrakhmanova held a master class for high school students. They talked about oversized logistics, the specifics of the fleet’s work, and career opportunities in the maritime industry.

The students watched a presentation about the company’s fleet and were able to ask questions about real work on ships. Perhaps for some of the schoolchildren, this meeting will be a step towards choosing a profession.

In addition, a meeting was held with students from the Sh. Yesenov Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering (Kazakhstan), who came to Astrakhan as part of an academic mobility program. Such events strengthen professional and cultural ties between students from different countries and contribute to the development of human resources in the industry.
