Morwenna Shipping Company at the Forum «Course to the Russian North 2026»

Representatives of Morwenna Shipping Company took part in the Transport and Logistics Forum «Course to the Russian North 2026», held in Arkhangelsk. The event brought together representatives of river and sea shipping, all interested in the development of inland waterways and the Northern Sea Route.

Key topics of discussion included the utilisation of the White Sea–Baltic Canal, the prospects for integrating water transport into the Unified Deep-Water System, and the removal of infrastructure bottlenecks hindering the growth of cargo traffic.

The business programme of the forum united shipowners, port operators, freight forwarders, cargo owners, shipbuilders, and representatives of regulatory authorities.

We thank VIVA CONSULT and MORBAZA LLC for organizing the event, as well as for the opportunity to serve as the event’s information partner.

Participation in the forum gave us the opportunity not only to stay informed about the current industry agenda, but also to hold negotiations with new counterparties. A separate highlight of the programme was a visit to the Onega Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Plant, where participants toured the production facilities and discussed potential cooperation in fleet repair and maintenance.

Morwenna Shipping Company continues to expand its geographic presence and strengthen its position in the North-Western basins, remaining a reliable partner in the shipping and transportation sector.
