Launching of Trewenna ( Project KPT-2500 1C Pusher Tug)

On 17th of May 2019 the 3rd pusher tug in series of project “KPT-2500 1C Pusher Tug” Trewenna was launched at Thecla Bodewes shipyard in Kampen (NL).

The vessel went into the water by means of the so-called “Friese Hellingsysteem”, where the ship slides freely into the water once the cross-skewed wedges are dismantled. The Trewenna is intended for offshore support activities and seagoing tow transports in the Caspian Sea. The power of this vessel is 4000 h.p and its bollard pull is 40 t, also it has Cummins main engines.
