Launch of the tug Trivenna (Project KPT-2500 1C Pusher Tug)

On May 17, 2019, the tug Trivenna, the third vessel in the KPT-2500 1C Pusher Tug series, was launched at Thecla Bodewes Shipyard in Kampen, Netherlands.

The tug was launched using the uncontrolled launching method from the Dutch shipyard’s slipway. Trivenna is planned for use in the Caspian Sea and for towing operations of varying complexity. This tug boasts nearly 4,000 hp, a Cummins main engine, and a bollard pull of 40 tons!
