Launch of the RORO pontoon Morwenna-3002

On April 25, 2019, a new Project 8916 Ro-Ro pontoon was launched at the Neptune Shipyard in Szczecin, Poland. The pontoon, named Morwenna-3002, is designed specifically for the transportation of oversized cargo.

A unique feature of the four newly built barges is that they were modernized during the launching phase: special support structures were designed and installed on the deck for more convenient and efficient transportation of heavy and oversized cargo using SPMT trailers.
