Technical preparation of vessels for navigation in 2026

Morwenna Shipping Company plans to prepare 33 vessels for the next navigation, mainly tugboats and barges of the river-sea class.

Six tugboats will undergo the next inspection: Izumrud, MB-1220, Navarin, OT-2437, Pallada and Silver Lovenna, as well as ten barges: Beluga-1, Beluga-2, Morvenna-1, Morvenna-2″, Morwenna-3, Morwenna-2501, Simmar Sky, Simmar Star and Simmar San. Eight barges will undergo an extraordinary inspection.

In addition, scheduled engine repairs will be carried out on individual vessels: Monsoon, Silver Lovenna, OT-2080 and OT-2410.

Last year, 28 vessels underwent scheduled repairs, with a total budget of 546 million rubles. This year, the estimates are still being formed, but it is already clear that the costs will be higher: the number of ships is increasing and prices for equipment, especially imported ones, are rising.

The main part of the repairs will take place at enterprises in St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk and Kaliningrad. Enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod, Astrakhan, Zvenigovo, Saratov and a number of other cities will also be involved.

Part of the work will be completed in 2025, and the bulk will be ready in 2026.

Maintaining the technical condition of the fleet is not just a task, but the basis for the safety and stable operation of our fleet.
