Towing of the dredger “Bekas”

ABOUT THE PROJECT: 

Duration: September 20 – September 29, 2023

 

Route: Yalova, Turkey – neutral waters in the vicinity of the 12 mile zone of Russian territorial waters off Kavkaz/Taman. 

 

Towed object: dredger “Bekas”.

Gross tonnage and displacement – 343.9 tons

Longest length, maximum width and draft during towing (bow and stern) – 32.33 m / 12 m / 3 m (draft with booms 7 m).

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS: 

• The offshore towing of the self-propelled (three-legged) dredger “Bekas” from Yalova (Turkey) to the neutral waters of the Black Sea near the 12 mile zone of the territorial waters of the Russian Federation off the port of Kavkaz/Taman was performed. This was the decision of the hirers. 
• This towage route is part of an international maritime towage from Yalova (Turkey) to Kavkaz/Taman (RF).
