PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:

Waiting for favorable conditions and inspection for the passage of the Kerch straight from June 30 to July 7.

Our mobility: in response to the Port Captain’s request, we engaged the auxiliary tugboat Eridan in the port of Kerch to ensure the passage of the Straight by the ship Hero Ivan Sivko with the Jannika pontoon.

Information: TWIN BARGE (twin-hull barge) is a system of two connected barges that can be separated when necessary to pass through narrow areas such as locks. This allows forming one large barge for transporting oversized cargo while avoiding the construction of expensive steel structures.

Interesting fact: this is the second towing operation of the TWIN BARGE. The first one was completed in 2024 from Baku to Murmansk.
