ABOUT THE PROJECT: 

  • Location: Gorodetsky waterworks, Nizhny Novgorod region;
  • Duration: 2022 – April-May 2024;
  • Project objectives: dredging of the lower approach channel, construction and installation work on the reconstruction of shipping locks, reconstruction of the dam, construction of a new lock chamber;
  • The project involves 330 people, 70 pieces of equipment;
  • General contractor: GC “MSU-1”, customer: FKU “Rostransmodernization”.

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS & SOLUTIONS:

  • The pontoon barges carry construction and technological equipment for the construction of the new lock chamber and its surrounding infrastructure. In particular, the ships have crawler cranes with increased lifting capacity.
  • Vessels are used for vibratory driving of sheet piles for the fencing of the future pit for the construction of the sluice chamber.
