  • Route: Murmansk – Barentsburg (Spitsbergen, Norway);
  • Duration: February 19 – April 23, 2023;
  • Task: auxiliary tug works (mooring and maneuvering operations) during the loading of dry cargo ships in a port.

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS & SOLUTIONS:

  • The crossing of the Barents Sea was carried out in a storm with a wave of more than 2.5 meters. The crew reached the work site without incidents.
  • The duration of the transition took four days only.
  • The operations of the tug as a mooring boat ensured the trouble-free navigation for the vessels in the port. Prompt loading of coal was also organized .
