Participation in the operation of the Sevmorneftegaz pontoon in the area of the V. Graifer field

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:

Project tasks: Positioning, anchor handling, deballasting, and towing of the “Sevmorneftegaz” pontoon.

Our anchor-handling tug “Ievoli Orange” was involved in the operation to position and handle anchors for the “Sevmorneftegaz” pontoon near the offshore ice-resistant stationary platform for grounding. Other vessels also worked on this project: the anchor-handling tug “Pontos”, t/b “Bizon”, t/b “Ural”, and the support vessel “Antares”.

During the second work period, AHTS “Arctic” was engaged for the deballasting and towing of the pontoon to Astrakhan.

The “Sevmorneftegaz” pontoon is a specialized catamaran-type pontoon designed for well development operations, as well as for transporting mixed cargo with horizontal loading and unloading capabilities. It is used for operations in the Caspian Sea at the V. Graifer field, developed by PJSC “LUKOIL”.
