PROJECT VESSELS

ABOUT THE PROJECT: 

• Duration: December 27, 2024 – January 6, 2025
• Route: St. Petersburg to Baltiysk, 
• Distance: 565 miles.
• Object: non-self-propelled pontoon (characteristics: 36.70 x 9.60 x 10.85 m, draft – 1,65 m) 

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS:

• AHTS ARCTIC was mobilized to Saint-Petersburg from the port of Kaliningrad. 
• The time of the project implementation coincided with weather conditions exceeding the limitations of the object towing – wave 3.5 m, wind up to 20 m/sec. This resulted in forced anchorages waiting for weather improvement.
• The towing was performed in compliance with all safety measures. The floating mooring was delivered without damage. Risks related to weather conditions and territorial specificity of the route were successfully minimized.
