Transportation of drums and cable for oil and gas fields



Project summary:

  • Objective: delivery of oil equipment for Total Absheron project.
  • Cargo: A pair of cable carousels and auxiliary equipment (687 tonne), cable and pressure measuring instrumentation (973 tonne)
  • Route: Schiedam, Netherlands – Rosyth, UK – Baku, Azerbaijan – Antwerp, Belgium
  • Period: 2020 – 2022

Tasks execution:

  • The chartered barge repair and modernization was carried out on a tight schedule. Dismantling of the deck equipment was completed in the Netherlands.
  • 2020: The project’s first phase. Loading of cable carousels in Schiedam, loading of cable in Rosyth and unloading the cable in Baku
  • 2022: The project second phase. Completion of cable unloading in Baku with unloading the cable carousels in Antwerp, Belgium
