PROJECT VESSELS: 

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

  • Location: Black Sea – Bautino, Kazakhstan;
  • Duration: August – October 2023;
  • Task: towing the oil tanker LIWA;
  • Object dimensions: 135 x 17 m2.

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS: 

  • The tugs successfully crossed the border, passing the necessary security checks.
  • The dimensions of the towed vessel, which required special care when passing through the locks at the inner waterways, did not interrupt passing the Volga-Don Canal and further movement forward.
  • Adverse weather conditions and wind gusts of up to 18 m/s created a risk of downtime. However, the experience of the captains helped in choosing the timing of the movement, thanks to which the object was delivered without delays.

  • Duration: July – September 2023;
  • Tasks: surveying the topography of the sea canal bottom, supplying dredgers
  • Collaboration with dredgers under Chinese flags: TONG HENG, TONG YUANG and XIN ZI LANG-1.

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS: 

  • Geopositioning equipment for 3D survey of the seabed was pre-installed on board the vessel.
  • While surveying the bottom topography, the deviation from course did not exceed 1 m.
  • Moorings to the dredgers were carried out on the move despite rough weather conditions.
