PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS:

  • In order to carry more cargo in one voyage, the carrying capacity of Project 03060 barges was increased from 3,360 tons to 4,550 tons.

  • Due to the increased draft of the barge in full cargo to 3.6 m, the overboard of the loaded barges was only 60 cm. Limited depths in the vicinity of the Gorodets hydroelectric complex resulted in additional anchorages to wait for the water to start up in order to pass into the lower embankment of the Gorodets hydroelectric complex.Due to the long waiting time for depths at the Gorodets hydroelectric complex, partial unloading of crushed stone (2000-2200 tons) was required at Gorodets. Further on they followed with draught 2.4 m.

  • In October, the guaranteed depth in the Rybinsk reservoir sharply decreased. This section required the development of measures and their coordination with the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Moscow Canal”. By November 1, the guaranteed depth was 3.7 m, which resulted in the necessity to reduce the loading of crushed stone by 225 tons to obtain the permissible draft of the barge – 3.45 meters.

  • The customer sent a letter expressing his gratitude to the tugboat captains and crews, as well as to the OEF staff. The letter emphasized individual approach and efficiency in decision making.
