ABOUT THE PROJECT:

PROJECT EXECUTION: 

7 voyages. Of these, 3 voyages took place in 2024 and 4 in 2025.

 

7,320 tons of cargo. The lightest was 838 tons and the heaviest was 1,160 tons.

The voyages turned out to be interesting, but at the same time required non-standard solutions. During the work, we had to take into account many factors, including difficult weather conditions and regional characteristics. For example, we used a method of mooring by pushing the barge to the berth, which subsequently became the main method.

 

We did special attention to the specifics of berth No. 52 of the ULTC. When winds of any direction exceed 10 m/s (with gusts up to 12 m/s), it becomes unsafe for the train to remain in this area. From the main fairway, a rolling wave over 1.5 meters high arises, which hits the berth directly, creating a “boiling kettle” effect.

 

Despite the difficulties, the ship crews demonstrated a high level of professionalism.

Reference: Ruskhimalliance is a joint venture between Gazprom and Rusgazdobycha, which is building a large gas processing complex near the port of Ust–Luga. The plant plans to process gas with a high ethane content, produce LNG (liquefied natural gas), as well as store and ship gas. Plus, there is a terminal for sea transportation. The complex will process approximately 45 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
