PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:

The total length of the route Astrakhan-Tolyatti is 860 km through RIWRS. Transportation from Volzhskiy to Tolyatti took 3 days!

The gate flaps, immersed on the deck, had an overhang for the dimensions on the port side – 0.841 m. Special fenders were provided by the charterer.

Initially, it was supposed to transport the cargo of BBS t/x “OT-2080” and “Silver-3005”, but the plans changed slightly and at the port of loading in Volzhsky t/x “OT-2080” was replaced by t/x “Heroes of the Arctic”, which delivered the barge with cargo to Tolyatti.

Zhiguli hydroelectric power station, which is part of the Volga region‑The Kama cascade of hydroelectric power plants (the sixth stage) ranks second among the hydroelectric power plants in Europe in terms of capacity.

The Zhiguli hydroelectric power plant was commissioned in 1955. Since 2012, it has been undergoing a process of consistent modernization, which should be completed this year. The gate flaps of the airlock were just delivered for this purpose.
